PSMNR is a multi-partner programme under the overall responsibility of the Regional Delegate of Forestry and Wildlife for the South West.

MINISTERE DES FORETS ET DE LA FAUNE (MINFOF)

The Regional Delegation of the Ministry of Forests and Wildlife (MINFOF) is mandated for the management and monitoring of the Permanent Forest Estate (protected areas, FMUsand council forests) and the Non-Permanent Forest Estate (communal forests, community forests); with the valuation of all forest and fauna resources and with the issue of peoples’ access to those resources and/or to the benefits that are generated from it.
